Alongside manual techniques, including massage, joint mobilisation and stretching, I also use phototherapy, therapeutic ultrasound and pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF).  I can also now offer kinesiology taping for my equine clients which can help a number of situations.

 

All of these modalities can be integrated into sessions when appropriate to help me treat a range of issues from open wounds, fractures, hematomas, muscle spasms, muscle/tendon/ligament damage and degenerative conditions such as osteoarthritis.

As a physiotherapist my aim will be to ensure your animal is in the best condition possible for the job it has to do. Whether this is an event horse, a happy hacker, a working gun dog or the family pet, I will assess and treat the animal as a whole.
